Gavin Keystone

Gavin awarded Lifson/Johnson Memorial Award for excellence in teaching

In addition to his work in the Revelo Lab, Gavin has been a teaching assistant for human physiology for 4 semesters. During his time, he has helped countless students and become an outlet for professors and his fellow TAs. The Revelo lab is extremely proud of Gavin's commitment to educating his peers inside and outside of the lab.

Lab Meetings

Weekly Zoom Lab Meetings

The Revelo lab is holding weekly online lab meetings to keep the group connected. Each week, an individual presents their data or prepares a paper for journal club. The Williams lab, in the Center for Immunology, as well as various collaborators, join to present data and provide insights at these meetings.

Gustavo ABRCMS

Gustavo wins best presenter at the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students

The Revelo Lab hosted its first life sciences summer undergraduate research (LSSURP) student this summer, Gustavo Serrano. Gustavo spent the summer researching the effects of B cells on NAFLD progression. His research won him best presenter for his poster at the California conference.

Lab Run

The Revelo Lab Weekly Runs

In order to fully embrace the metabolic research taking place, the lab started a weekly 5k run/walk. The lab ran to the historic stone arch bridge and took in the sights of the beautiful Minneapolis skyline. Each member pushed one another to keep going, with lots of fun along the way.
