TWO POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Qualifications. Ph.D. in Physiology, Immunology, Metabolism, or related field with a track record of productive research and publications.
About the candidates. The candidate should be an intellectually curious and highly qualified scientist with an interest in academic research in the field of immunometabolism. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Sterile tissue culture techniques and cell-based assays (flow cytometry, immuno-histochemistry, microscopy, ELISA) are highly desired.
About the Positions. Posdoctoral positions for highly self-motivated postdoctoral scholars with a background in inflammation, immunology, metabolic disease, and cardiac biology to work on an NIH-funded projects. Mentoring and NIH T32 training grants are available for qualifying candidates.
ONE RESEARCHER POSITION AVAILABLE
Qualifications. B.S. Degree plus 1 year of work experience in research, or a combination of education and work experience to equal 5 years. Experience in mouse husbandry and management of breeding colonies. Preferred qualifications include experience with basic biomedical research techniques including genotyping, flow cytometry, cell culture, western blotting and biochemical/molecular assays
About the Positions. The researcher will be responsible for the management of the mouse breeding colony and administration of the laboratory. The ideal candidate should be a critical thinker and detail-oriented, have strong work ethics, and excellent communication skills.
