April 2025 - We published a new article entitled "Single-cell RNA sequencing reveals a reprogramming of hepatic immune cells and a protective role for B cells in MASH-driven HCC" in Hepatology Communications.
September 2024 - Our paper "TREM2 macrophages mediate the beneficial effects of bariatric surgery against NASH" was published in Hepatology.
July 2023 - Two new pre-prints entitled "Hepatic LAMs mediate the protective effects of VSG" (Fredrickson et al.) and "Dysfunctional TFH cells cause inflammation in NASH" were deposited in Biorxiv.
December 2021 - Our article "Cardiac resident macrophages prevent fibrosis and stimulate angiogenesis" (Revelo et al.), a partnership with the van Berlo lab, is featured on the cover of Circulation Research.
November 2021 - In collaboration with the Mayo Clinic, we published a review entitled "Emerging Roles of T Cells in the Pathogenesis of Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis and Hepatocellular Carcinoma" (Hirsova et al.) in Frontiers in Endocrinology.
June 2021 - Our group's research (Fredrickson et al.) is published in Molecular Metabolism: "Exercise of high intensity ameliorates hepatic inflammation and the progression of NASH".
March 2021 - The laboratory (Barrow et al.) publishes 2 articles in Hepatology: "Microbiota-driven activation of intrahepatic B cells aggravates NASH" and "The emerging role of B cells in the pathogenesis of NAFLD (review)". This work is featured in the cover.
